All Such troubles that disturb the normal functioning of  the digestive system have been termed here as abdominal disorders. The commonly found disorders in this case are: constipation, wind formation, indigestion, dysentery, diarrhoea, acidity, stomach ache, and various forms of gastro-intestinal. Our experience shows that it is widely prevalent problem of our affecting young and old like.

The Yoga system of treatment requires (i) Proper Diet, (ii) daily practice of a few asanas. We mention some important points about proper diet before describing the die-chart.

Proper Diet:

Eat a balanced diet which means to include salad, green vegetables and fresh fruits along with other dishes of the day. Eat at least two hours before going to bed at night. Eat not more than about eighty-five percent of your capacity. Do not drink water during the meals, but only about after half an hour of finishing your meals. Taken ten to twelve glasses of water every day. Avoid fried, roasted and spicy food. Exclude red-pepper, pickles, hot spices, chutny and the arhar dal from your daily menu.
